6 Tips For Real Estate iPhone Love

6 Tasty Tips+8 Tempting Apps For Real Estate iPhone Love

My Apple iPhone 3GS adventure actually began more than a few years ago with aJudy's Apple iPhone For Real Estate 20 Tasty Tips couple of Palm Pilots. I thought they were great until now!

Even though I’m an Apple newbie, I already love my  iPhone3Gs. The new iPhone was a Birthday present.

The launch date fell exactly 30 days after my real birthday, so I was counting the days along with the rest of the world and just barely resisted the temptation to stand in line in the predawn hours at the Apple Store in the King of Prussia Mall on June 19th.

July 4th 2009 Fireworks Chester County Main Line Pa

4th of July 2009 Fireworks Parades Chester County MainLinePaToday.comJuly 4th 2009 Fireworks, Parades and Fun in the Chester County Main Line Pa Area

The 4th of July is the traditional start of Summer,  in Philadelphia and the Western Suburbs of Chester County, Montgomery County and Delaware County.

There will be many back yard picnics a few parades and some spectacular Fireworks displays for you to enjoy. I’ll be taking my best ever “secret recipe” deviled eggs to a party. Actually, I just make them the way my Mother did with a little pinch of this and that (except for the hot sauce and curry). But they really are the best ever!

Everyone likes to call their Fireworks the best ever. What do you think? Do you have a family fav?

*Philly 4th Fun, Fireworks and Parade – Philadelphia offers a week long celebration beginning June 25th with The July 4th Parade taking place this year in Historic Philadelphia starting at 11am.  Fireworks can be viewed from the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway starting at 10:30pm

*Wilson Farm Park 4th Annual Tredyffrin/Easttown Concert and Fireworks Display at 500 Lee Road in Chesterbrook,  features Ben Mauger’s Vintage Jazz Band in a FREE concert starting at 7pm with a grand finale Fireworks Display about dusk, or 9pm.

*Radnor High School Annual Scholarship Fund Fireworks held at the Radnor High School playing fields at King of Prussia Road starting at 6:30pm on July 4th.  July 5th Rain Date. Call 610-688-5600 for more information and advance tickets, group car rates. Bring a picnic blanket or chair. Read the rest of this entry »

Memorial Day Fun Main Line Chester County Pa

Memorial Day 2009Memorial Day Fun For May 2009 will include many back yard picnics throughout the areas of the Philadelphia Main Line and Western Suburbs of Chester County, Delaware County and Montgomery County.

As a youngster, I recall going to  Woolworth’s Five and Dime Store to buy some flags (2 for a nickel) to line the path to our front door.  Flags were intertwined with some beloved rose bushes that made our Philadelphia Twin Style home look very grand!

*Monday 5/25/2009 Radnor Memorial Day Parade begins at 9:45am “Rain or Shine” at 150 N Radnor Chester Road and proceeds West on Lancaster Avenue with a Memorial Day Ceremony at the corner of Aberdeen and South Wayne following the Parade.

*Sunday 5/31/2009 Malvern Pa Memorial Day Parade from 1:30pm to 4:30pm in the Borough of Malvern. Read the rest of this entry »

Things To Do A Chester County Walk In The Park

Chester County Pennsylvania~A Walk In The Park

Spring and the official Vernal Equinox , arrives March 20th 2009, and not a minute Johnny Jump Upstoo soon, in my opinion, and yours too I imagine. These charming Johnny Jump Ups can be found along a path as one of our earliest signs of Spring together with Crocuses and Forsythia. Even in December if it’s warm, but not this year.  If planted in a protected area, they’ll often reseed themselves.

A visit to the Philadelphia Museum of Art is a great way to begin your Spring walking.  Cezanne and Beyond – A Century of Great Artists Philadelphia Museum of Art – You will see more Cezanne and the artists Cezanne influenced, at the Philadelphia Museum of Art than if you went to Paris up to May 17th. This is an outstanding opportunity. Adults $14, Seniors $12, Children 12 and under Free.

*Birds chirping, a warm sunny day, Spring senses stirred and I begin to hear the call of the countryside. Chester County Pennsylvania Countryside to be specific. No one does a day in the country better than Chester County Pennsylvania.

*Try Longwood Gardens where you stroll either indoors or outdoors when you hear the call of Spring early as I do. Also, Valley Forge National Park has many places for a Spring walk, both natural and paved (keep in mind the Valley Forge Road Bridge closing for detours into the Park) . Fall Back or Spring Forward November 2, 2008

Daylight Saving Time – November 2, 2008 Set Your Clocks Back Saturday November 1st Before Bedtime.

Fall Back from Daylight Saving Time on Sunday November 2, 2008.

After the sugar highs of Halloween, you like me, may be in high gear Saturday, November 1st and forget to turn your clock back one hour.

If you do forget, you might even show up for Church an hour early. Which is only slightly less embarrassing than if you forget in the Spring and walk in when everyone else is leaving.

Fall Back, Spring Forward

“i before e, except after c”, and if you’re musical, “EGBDF, every good boy does fine” and “face” (the lines and spaces of the Treble Clef), or to loosen or tighten screws, “lefty loosey, righty tighty” are some of the ways we jog our memory into action with these mnemonics.

Mnemonic Devices.

If you like fun words, that’s what these are called. Mnemonics are supposed to make things easier to remember, but the word mnemonics is not easy to remember. When I can remember the word, I can’t remember how to spell it. Read the rest of this entry »

Clays Bakery Berwyn – Yummy Local Places

Clays Creative Corner Bakery in Berwyn – A Yummy Local Place

“Now, there’s Clays Creative Corner Bakery. When you want a great cake for a holiday celebration, Clays Creative Bakery Berwyn Pawedding, party, or “just because”, you MUST go to Clay’s”. That’s what I tell my Relocation Buyers.

Realtors are like everyone else. We all have our favorite business places. You know, the place where you can depend on great service and good stuff. What’s different about Realtors is that it’s part of our job to know a little something about some of the Yummy Local Places. It’s a tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it.

In the spirit of doing my Yummy Local Places research, I stopped in to visit Denise at Clays Bakery, named for Denise’s Father, Clayton, who was a Tredyffrin Police Officer. Denise, her Mother and husband, Bill founded Clays’ 18 years ago. Hard work built a successful business. It’s not unusual for them to be in the shop in the wee hours of the morning April to June, the peak celebration months. Read the rest of this entry »
